Welcome to the first ever online criminology review!
This is the only website that offers criminology review online. Nowadays, review fees are becoming more expensive. With two to three months review at Saturday-and -Sunday schedule, a reviewee will be paying Three Thousand Pesos (Php3,00.00) at the very least. What he will find later, to his dismay, is that the materials given by the review center he enrolled at are not very satisfactory or else the reviewers, though with flying colors in their credentials, are not that committed to impart knowledge as anticipated. What these "experts" impart during the review is how good they are in their field. Well, it is very good to have high caliber professors as reviewers - they build up confidence among the reviewees. But review is not just about knowing credentials of review lecturers, it is about clarifying previously ambiguous subjects and learning to tackle board questions.
This is not to discourage criminology graduates from enrolling in the review. Rather, this is to encourage them to be careful in choosing a good review center. As a matter of fact, the author is a guest lecturer in various review centers in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. (He is also open to an invitation to conduct review anywhere in the Philippines.) The very first consideration that a reviewee should look into is the track record of the review center. This website is a good partner to reviewees who are either enrolled or in self-review and are earnest in passing the board examinations.
The author is a Fourth Placer in the October 1996 Criminology Board. He is a holder of Master of Science in Criminology. With more than 15 years as criminology instructor and reviewer, 5 years of which spent as Dean, he develops a deep sense of sympathy to the plight of criminology students. Having considered his success in his field of endeavor as endowment from God almighty, he feels it is his obligation to return the favor to others who wish to become criminologists but who are not fortunate enough to have access to good review materials.
It is therefore the fervent hope of the author that viewers will find the materials in this site helpful in their review. In taking review, always remember to pause each time you remember you are to take the board examinations and pray to the Lord Jesus Christ for guidance and understanding. This is the author's secret weapon and will be yours also. God bless.
